I want to show you a tank that I'm building.
The Tank it self is a Sherman Firefly. This: "http://www.mainlyplanesntrains.com/images/Kits%20-%20Revell/03211.jpg" to be specific.
This is it's 'pedestal' so to speak. It is a small bridge with stone and the part of a bridge.
This is a first stage of painting it.
Here is the tank in itself before any painting:
After that I did some painting on the bridge.
The tank is still bare.
I'm using a small air gun for Base painting. After that I'm using a small brush for detail and a large one for dry washing.
I mixed the colors myself that's why they don't look professional. :)
After that I glued some sand and some flora onto the bridge to try and make it more life like.
And here is the bridge and the tank together.

I tried to look at real bridged to catch a color. The dirt looks pink because I messed up the Mix. :)
First I based it with the AirBrush black. After that I went over it with a dark color dark gray. Then again with a not so dark gray color. And then Drywashed it with a whitened gray color. This way the shadows are visible a bit. Also I did a white wash on the bricks and a Gray DryWash...
My technique is ofc that of a noobs.... But I enjoyed it and I'm learning a lot in the way.
Cheers!
